Workshop Leader for COUPLE COMMUNICATION Instructor Training

Sherod Miller, Ph.D., is co-developer of the COUPLE COMMUNICATION (CC) I & II programs and Chief Executive Officer of ICP, the sponsoring organization. He is a trainer of trainers, coach to professionals, and co-author in interpersonal communication. His early books Include Alive and Aware, Straight Talk, and Connecting With Self and Others. Current ones are the CC I & II texts, Collaborative Marriage Skills and Thriving Together in the SkillsZone, plus CORE COMMUNICATION (for individuals). He has also created ThriveSphere, the on-line collaborative marriage inventory.

A former clinician, Dr. Miller is a Fellow in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a Certified Family Life Educator, and a past faculty member in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He has been awarded four national honors for his research and teaching. He brings a wealth of practical experience, as well as an engaging and pleasant facilitation style, to this workshop.
